Advantech lead free transition roadmap includes 3 phases: Phase I - purchase Pb-free equipments and identify lead-free part number, Oct/04-Feb/05; Phase II - adjust & define production condition and project pilot-run, Mar/05-Jun/05; Phase III - key supplier phase-in & ready for ordering (by request), Jul/05.
Advantech will work proactively with industry peers and suppliers to clarify standards and identify compatible technologies and processes to reduce hazardous substances in its manufacturing processes and products. Advantech will also build up a "Green Supply Chain Platform" for supply chain management and make sure all suppliers meet the qualifications.
