Advantech industrial motherboards range from ATX, Micro-ATX, and mini-ITX form factor boards. These platforms are built with standard form factor which allow customers to seamless upgrade without compatibility. The standard ATX mounting holes and I/O bracket area enable the ready-to-use and reduces cabling as well as total cost. In addition, commercial motherboard typically has a short life-cycle, Advantech industrial motherboards are under strict revision control, which means engineering changes are kept to the minimum to reducing the high cost of design changes and reduce costly maintenance and upgrade efforts. These industrial motherboards are ideal solutions for customers who are using commercial off-the-shelf products but require the flexibility of PCIe, PCI-X, PCI and AGP card expansion with industrial features such as longevity, reliability and manageability.

Embedded Industrial Motherboards

The POS/AIMB (Advantech Industrial Motherboard Board) control board series are not only designed specifically for POS but also other applications (DVR, Kiosks, ATM, Multimedia etc.) that require many I/O connections and rugged features at an affordable price. Our major form factor LPX/EmbeddedATX can be easily adapted to Advantech's POS/AIMB chassis or other commercially available chassis.

Mini-ITX Motherboards

Mini-ITX motherboards are designed with rich functionality and reliable performance in a small footprint that measures just 170 x 170 mm. The highly integrated Mini-ITX platforms feature low power consumption of less than 100 Watts and have one basic expansion slot. They’re ideal platforms for fast-emerging markets where size and power efficiency are required.

MicroATX Motherboards

Microwatt motherboards are only 244 x 244 mm and are ideal for space/cost sensitive applications where less than 4 slots are required. MicroATX Motherboards enable the same high integration of ATX but with a smaller footprint that fills the gap between mini-ITX and full-size ATX, balancing performance and expandability.
