Advantech's VITA family offers a 16-channel GPS engine, GSM/GPRS module, RS-232 port, and digital I/O ports to allow GPS location tracking, wireless data transmission, and remote sensing and alarm notification. The utility software provides the tools needed to integrate VITA’s process and GPS data into GIS (Geographical Information System) programs.
